PRIVATE LESSONS & EVENTS

KC Clay Guild offers both private lessons and group classes for all skill levels. Private lessons provide personalized instruction, making them ideal for those with specific projects or tight schedules. Our experienced instructors will tailor the session to your needs, whether you're new to clay or refining your skills.

If you have a large group, KCCG also offers wheel throwing and hand-building events to be personalized for the audience, such as team building, corporate events, birthday parties, and more.  Each event provides hands-on experience with expert guidance, access to studio resources, and a welcoming community of fellow artists. Private lessons at KC Clay Guild offer one-on-one instruction tailored to your goals, whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced potter refining your skills. Our skilled instructors will guide you through wheel throwing, hand-building, or a specific project at your own pace.

Pricing:

  • $40 per hour per person
  • $60 per hour for a couple
  • 2-hour minimum per session

We require 5 to 7 days notice to schedule and 24 hours notice for rescheduling. No refunds for missed or no-show sessions.

PRIVATE EVENTS

Looking for a unique and creative group experience? Private events at KC Clay Guild are perfect for friends, families, corporate team-building, birthday parties, and special events. Our expert instructors will guide your group through wheel throwing or hand-building techniques, making for a fun and hands-on experience for all skill levels.

Why Choose a Private Event?

Pricing & Details:

  • For children: $200 for up to 8 students, $35 for each additional student up to a total of 16, $480 total for a group of 16
  • For non-profits: $150 for up to 8 students, $30 for each additional student up to a total of 16, $390 total for a group of 16
  • For adults: $250 for up to 8 students, $40 for each additional student up to a total of 16, $570 total for a group of 16
  • Private events available for groups of three or more
  • Customizable lessons based on your interest
  • Includes clay, instruction, and firing
